Artist History
If you could never understand how the infinite army of new, up-and-coming bands can affect your choice in musical taste, it's simple... close your eyes, find the rhythm and just listen. For the collective members of MOMMY SUPER HIGH, just listening wasn't enough.
You can smoke all the cocaine pills and snort all the marijuana needles you want, but the debut of MOMMY SUPER HIGH revealed a band that can induce even the most jaded rock addict into intoxication. On stage, they are consummate performers. Together, they face the inescapable truths between love and pain.
The group's style can be categorized as a modern rock band. But from the beginning, they were third generation rockers with a need to create something new, rather than be consciously tied to any of rock's traditions. Presenting an engaging chemistry on stage, they are a priceless diversion from the tired, generic rock bands that clog up today's radio airwaves.
If a band must conform to fit into a certain genré, MSH breaks that mold by successfully pounding a square peg into the round hole of music clubs across Upstate New York. While being able to blow a .10 in John Law's breath-o-lizer on any given night, this stylish band remains diverse,
dramatic, and rock solid.
You can throw around music classifications all day long, but as modern rock drops in and out of style, MOMMY SUPER HIGH have accepted no boundaries. Powerful, delicate, current, stirring, always compelling... they choose to follow their own instincts, while preserving the vital spark of individuality that sets them apart.
Ok kids, I don't care how you do it... save up your milk money, escape rehab, steal a car, but get your drink on and bounce your sweet asses out to see
MOMMY SUPER HIGH! |
