Artist description Our name - BUCIUM - represents an old roumanian musical wood instrument with ancient spiritual and cultural roots, an instrument that was used by our people, especially by shepherds, in battle - for coded signals or in times of peace -for anouncements. It represents a signal for a gathering. We try to represent a signal for our people to a spiritual ancestrallity, to a spiritual reborn.

Music Style Our music represents the fusion between roumanian folklore and a certain rock language, but the main thing remains the atmospheric, the ambient created by our special way of playing.

Musical Influences We cannot be included in a certain genre, and that`s why there are no musical influences for our way of playing. There are influences that made us musicians as we are now.We can mention Metallica, Iron Maiden, classical music like Rimsky Korsakov and Rachmaninov, Sting,Led Zeppelin, and many others but none is found in our way of playing.
