Artist History
The name Left Over Tear Drops was created when one night at John's, Jenni was crying, and I was all like, "The fuck? You're still crying?". She replied by saying, "No, those are left over." I chuckled and said, "That would be a good name for an emo band, Left Over Tear Drops." So, we porked like 50 times (not really) then went out into the living room and shared the name with everyone. Later that night, Nate and I were out in the garage playing awesome shit as usual, when all of the sudden, we were both like, "Man, lets start an emo band, and we can call it Left Over Tear Drops." It was a totally sweet and awesome idea. We were on a tight schedule as a band, cause the next day was our first show. We wrote one song that night called, "I Killed My Ex's Dog In Jealousy". The song totally ROCKS...EMO STYLE! At the time we didn't have a drummer, there was no one near good enough for our AMAZING talent. So, the next day, we opened for the Rock & Roll band The Struggle. It was at Joe's 3rd or maybe 2nd Bon Fire Bash. It was totally sweet and awesome at the same time. We rocked the house practically flawlessly. At this rate, we were definitaly going places. Practically as soon as we were done with our one song set, Epic tried to sign us. We were all like, "Funk that. You guys would only bring us down, we're out, later." We TOLD those suit fuckers, they didn't even see it coming, it was great. So, ever since our debut on the big stage, we have been consistantly practicing and getting better and better, as if that was even possible. Some time later, we adopted Brian into the band as our totally hot and awesome drummer. He is AMAZING! It's like there is nothing he can't do. It's crazy mad style. He has been working on our songs with us for a couple practices now and we sound SO emo! It's SWEET. We have a good seven songs down and A LOT more to come. Believe that. Also keep your eyes open for a lot of Left Over Tear Drops shows coming your way. |
