Artist History
Beaux Christopher (Singer/Songwriter): Here’s a little history about the BBZ front-man, although born in South Louisiana, Beaux grew up in North Florida when his family relocated to Panama City Beach at age 5 and then 3 years later to Tallahassee. Beaux showed an early interested in proving his vocal ability as a youngster at age 4 years old, by always outperforming his twin brother and serenading his parents while they were all listening to their favorite performer on the car radio. This further developed as Beaux grew up, as he would sing with the church choir on Sundays. Then at age 10 Beaux watched his cousin get on the balcony of their Beach condo in PCB and play his Flying-V guitar, wailing out the Star-Spangled Banner for a crowd that was gathered on the beach for July 4th and received a standing ovation, well he was bug-eyed, amazed & intrigued, so upon returning home, he started his first guitar lessons, he had to wait until then so his fingers could fit around the fret board, this was a natural for Beaux, once he started he was very comfortable with the instrument a fender telecaster guitar and began writing musical notes on tablature. As time goes by, Beaux continued playing guitar and taking lessons, his first Live performance came at age 14, when he was backed by the R&B/Jazz group of Gwenelyth Jones and her band at a dinner club. Then at age 15 he wrote his first original ballad called “Lonely”, which received local and regional airplay. He then went on to form a local rock group with some high school friends and received a good local following, after that page, Beaux continue his quest and age 16 helped to form a group known as Eulopia, with some limited success and good recording experiences in Log Cabin studios the band continued for only about 6 months. Finally in the year 2000, Beaux at age 18, found management with 409 Entertainment and formed an alliance with manager JB Butler, (national concert promoter & artist development) the two began organizing a group of talented musicians from far reaches across the country, to include: Clark Petersen on Bass (Boston), Gerald Pilkey on Drums (Orlando) and J.W. on Guitar (Tallahassee) the band was built around the dynamic vocal ability and range of Beaux which begins the chapter of (BBZ), the band immediately was brought into the studio after creating enough originals for an album and worked with producer(s) Dan Godwin of Rock The World Studios and artist/producer Eric Durrance of Big Dismal (Wind-up), after several months, the band produced several catchy commercial radio friendly songs that obviously has some form of niche, because other industry executives heard the sounds and one by one have been incorporated on board the team, beginning with catching the ears of the well known producer/engineer: Skidd Mills of the Legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN ( Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, 3 Doors Down), Skidd has signed a first album agreement to produce the band, and this is also where the attached demo was recorded. Then being in the same city of Tallahassee as a established entertainment attorney did not hurt, we played a local show and invited: Rob McNeely of McFarlain & Cassedy (represents clients: Creed, Sevendust, Seven Channels, (BBZ) Blinded By Zeus, Donavon Chapman) who has also signed on as attorney representing the individual members. Recently reached an agreement with Tony Couch of McGathy Promotion(s) RockStar2k in NYC, for a&r coordination and promotion, after years of showcasing and establishing the group, we look forward to a continued growth and development to bring this rising star to recognition with the popular world. BBZ has recently performed a showcase at the famous NYC club CBGB for several industry executives on November 19, 2002, sponsored by McGathy’s RockStar2k. Attorney, Rob McNeely who was also in attendance at the CBGB show, stated on November 27, 2002: I met Bill McGathy (President, CEO of McGathy Promotions) at the Ice Palace in Tampa Monday. When I mentioned BBZ, he volunteered, "That kid is gonna' be a star!" about Beaux. "There's a great buzz going on about that kid after the show.
