Artist History Smashley recorded their first EP in late 2002 when the frontwoman Smash contacted Matt Ashman. Matt helped lay down some tracks that Smash had been writing and played drums and bass on the recording. Later, Dominique Durand joined the group on bass to form the current members of Smashley.
