Artist History Rain is made up of singer/songwriter/guitarist David Raine and guitarist/producer Charles Everett. David was born in Philly and migrated to NYC where he was tapped to be the front man for innovative rock band Hundred Pound Head. David soon began writing his own songs on guitar and split off to form a soul-rock band called Raine. They traveled to various parts of Europe and the Middle East for gigs and inspiration. Raine disbanded at the start of strong recognition, but the music survived. After gruaduating with a degree in music from the University of New Haven, Charles moved to NYC and quickly won the coveted spot of frontman in legendary underground band The Hotheads. After 2 years of gigging, recording and touring with that group, he left to focus on writing and producing. Charles and David met at an acting audition in 2002 and formed a bond which led them to create the music that you are listening to now.
