Artist History marrakech (originally named "the far and away") formed in the early winter of 2001. we started out as a pretty solid, but fairly unconvincing metal band. a change in vocalists has brought us together to become the most productive since we began. as our music continued to evolve, so did our ideals and politics, so it seemed only natural that we put the two together. we are a band that refuses to be only that, we understand the opportunity we have to get a message out (no matter how big the audience may be), and we're taking it. we are friends, musicians, and activists.
