Artist History We are a punk-rock band (whatever that means). I believe that everyone has its own mind, way of thinking, believing in things that are natural for everyone. I believe I am a punk eventhough sometimes you couldn't tell that by looking at me. Not believing in what you are is selling out, making yourself a lesser person, a lesser man, and woman. If you believe, you will take yourself to a higher level, a higher stadium. Always try to develop your own thoughts, don't let noone to conquer your mind cause then you'll be just like them – spoiled, authorative, greedy and dangerous to your own. The band started in december 1997 after we heard about the punk scene in our small town. Shaggie, Mac and Mateja started a band called »Za Odstrel«. They didn't have any rehearsals until they actually contacted me(Reeko). In the beginning I was playing the bass, but things changed rapidly. So, we had Mac on vocals, Shaggie on drums, Mateja and me on the guitars. I suppose you'll ask yourself who played the bass. As I said things changed rapidly. Only one year later our close friend Bezi(Bezus Christ) jointed the band after training almost three months he became good enough to play in a band. After Bezi jointed we played a year. We were all going to high school, which I think was Bezis biggest problem so one of the consequences had to be leaving the band. So from now on Mateja is the bassist. We already had one demo out which was recorded in 1999. In the summer of 2000 we did our second one - chick core but without Bezus Christ. In 2001 we recorded another demo and started recording our first full length which fell into the water after realizing that we've been ripped off by our own »manager« and »producer« but OK, let's say that never happened. We played a lot of concerts all the time but people stopped listening to punk – there wasn't a real punk or hardcore scene around here at the time. The old »punks« (the punks that weren't punks anymore) were always telling us that there's no use, I guess everybody did, but we insisted and showed everybody the middle finger and continued being what we were and still are (insane). Our music became harder, more critical and angry. But again something had to come up. Mac, the vocalist, started to get lazy and kinda uninterested or I don't know maybe he didn't have time, but the main problem is that he didn't practice, so you probably know what happened next. From now on we had to play as a trio in which I was singing now. In the summer of 2002 we took part at the EMM 2002 (European Music Meeting), where we met a lot of people and friends, such as the Caddies from Slovenia or Take Shit Back from France, Roxxy from Hungary,... Rene, Romeo, Finky, Lucy, Sandy, Alex, Helge, Tom, and many more. It was really cool for us 'cause for the first time we got an impression how it is like when you live on the road. There we also met Michi the producer and recorder of our first CD-EP which we recorded in September of 2002 in Graz. Now we're playing our way and doing what we want and must to make our lives similar to our dreams! And this is our "Revenge Against Boredom"!
