Artist History
Fraser Mac Neil is a singer songwriter from Hamilton Ontario. He’s has been playing and singing most of his life. Only in the last several years has he stared to write. His first CD entitled “Trial and Error” is the story of his travels, things he has seen and done, people who have touched him. Born in Cape Breton Nova Scotia he says, has given him the sense of family and drive and “a never say die attitude” needed to sustain in this unpredictable industry.
His new CD slated to be released in the spring “Pursuit of a Dream,” has been previewed and well received on many different MP3 sites with great enthusiasm and complimentary reviews. Produced by Rick Rose of Tangerine Productions, an artist whom which Fraser has co-writes with and songs at Sony Nashville, this CD is Americana in style.
His influences are as varied as is his music, from John Prine, Neil Young to Pink Floyd and Moody blues. He is currently in the studio with his brother Fred, recording a Maritime flavoured CD.... This is a dream realized. Guaranteed to provoke a thought or a smile or two, this is the true singer songwriter.... This is Fraser.
