    Merendine Atomiche played always thrash metal, in all their veins, starting in 1997 with a classic thrash, passing through a melodic thrash arriving with new album to a heavythrash like Pantera but in other ways near to annihlator for the blues and hard rock influences.

    Artist History
    Born in 1995 the band produced their first cd in 1998 called "Demo 1997" with four tracks of thrash hardcore metal. In summer of that year for line up problems they decided to play as cover band and only Metallica's song. In few months they became the best Italian Metallica tribute band and gain this title by the official Italian Metallica fan club. This happened in 2000 but before they released a tribute album called "Tribute to Metallica" in 1999. The band was knew around Italy and in a couples of countries abroad for their performances as Metallica tribute band. using this factor they back to own music and in september 2000 they released "The Holy metal" the first mcd of the band with five thrash melodic metal tracks and a studio video of the title track "Holy Metal". they recorded the album at No-Brain studios in Venice (Italy). the album was selfproduct and alone they sold 3500 copies, they played a long tour for all 2001 in Italy with more than 100 live shows and signed a deal with Franch label Deadsun records. They appeared in four compilations, two italians, one from netherlands and the most important on the sampler who follow the enciclopaedya of thrash metal edit by cherry red records where they appeared with song "Mental agony" near bands as Nevermore, Exodus and Arch Enemy. In 2002 they still on the road playin again in their country but in august of that year they flight iun Sweden at famous sunlight studios for record the first full lenght album "Walk across fire". This album was product by famous producer Tomas Skogsberg, just producer of bands as Entombed, Katatonia, hellacopters and more and also have the presence of two big guests stars as Jeff waters from Annihilator and Anders Lundemark from Konkhra. The album was released in march 2003 after the presentation for Europe in Ghent, Belgium and in Vicenza, Italy. The song "Game over" with Jeff waters was soon part of sampler of Metalium magazine from France. After a few months after his release, "walk across fire" received many great reviews from all the world and many interviews. The most important things came from USA where band sign an agreement with Skateboard marketing for spread the music all around United States for Two months in september and october 2003 in many Radio shows starting the 2nd on FRiday Morning quaterback radio show.. The band also produced an officila video about song "blood for glory" and an homevideo called "The holy bloody glory". During this 2003 Merendine Atomiche also will be part of new compilations from Usa, Lithuania and Italy. The band is still on the road in their country and are working over the possible euro america tour for 2004. For any other infos just check their official site
