Artist History
Lester – Bio
Once upon a time, more correctly in January 2002, there was a drummer boy named Momme who got bored, ´cuz there was not a good piece of music in his hometown.
But what he didn’t know at that time was that he was not alone.
Anyway, one day he picked up the phone and called a bass player named Pete L. a.k.a. Lovee. Lovee agreed, and thought that the idée of starting a band was great.
Now there were two boys in the untitled band, a bass player and a drummer.
What they needed was a singer and a guitarist.
Lovee recommended a guy named Pete M.
Actually Pete M is a drummer, but he is also a hell of a singer & guitar player.
Despite that Momme and Pete M, had a bad blood dispute from the past; they were both willing to give friendship a try. And that succeeded.
The three guys sat in an apartment one late night and discussed band names. It was at that time they came up with the name Lester.
They didn’t really plan so much. The only thing they planed was that they didn’t wanted to sound like any other Swedish band.
They wrote a couple of songs and stepped in to the studio.
It sounded so good, that they had a hard time believing their ears.
With Looves antagonistic, technically skilled and groove bass sound,
Mommes aggressive, dynamic and punch full drumming,
Pete M’s matchless, class of it’s own singing and guitar playing.
They have succeeded to create a soft emotional, but at the same time dynamic, sound.
Everybody that hears them knows that, Lester is a ticking bomb. It’s a matter of time before they get world famous, for their excellent music.
Some people say, “Lester is like candy for mind & soul”
The future looks extremely bright for Lester.
