Artist History
With every new endeavor come hardship, loss and struggle. Last Element was no exception.
Before it became what we know today; Dan, Bryant, Jeremy, Jai and Shane needed to spend a year at hard work.
Last Element began as a four man band in 2000. Only one of the original members had his priorities in order to peruse a life of music. Eventually after a dozen or so different musicians came and went from the band, the five boys of Last Element are striving to become greater than all that came before them.
In the first year of Last Element's life, the fan base grew amazingly large for the local scene. People came from over the state border to see these high school kids perform. After rearranging the band, nearly six months were devoted to creating new song, practicing, and publicizing.
Since the summer of 2002 Last Element has reemerged into the local scene with an entirely new sound. Introducing a dark, melodic, hardcore mix, the Last Element boys blew away the crowds. Eventually the old fan base returned doubling in size. Last Element's stage presence is incomparable to any of the other upcoming bands today. From the intense audience participation to the pyrotechnics, LE blew their friends away.
People have noticed a significant change in their style. At one time Last Element produced sounds perfect for shoving and tackling the person next to you. As some enthusiastic fans still feed off that energy from songs such as In Between, others find relief and aesthetics in tunes like Fluid of Life.
It has only been through their dedication to music that the Last Element boys have come so far in the local scene. With hopes of playing in front of thousands of fans some day, Last Element is already living a dream.
