Artist History
LinZ was born in Miami, April, 1983. She has spent most of her life in South and Central Florida before moving to Atlanta in 1996
She has been musical from a very young age, first starting piano lessons at five, moving to guitar at twelve, and back to keyboards, (which she considers her main instrument), at thirteen.
Soon she had expanded into singing and songwriting, , and tried out several musical collaborations before teaming up with Stiev Stigma to form her previous band: Retinal Fetish.
Passionate about her music, LinZ has been known to discard an entire work and start from scratch because she felt something was lacking in the finished product. It is not unusual for her to write several versions of the same song before deciding on a final recording.
She always trusts her instincts and will not be swayed from her unwavering perfectionism, a trait she hopes will earn her the respect of her musical peers, which she considers the truest form of success.
Axon Conflict, LinZ's next band, sought to expand upon the musical horizons reached with Retinal Fetish, and former bandmate Stiev.
With AxonConflict partner Blake, she had taken on much more of the writing, singing, and production tasks. A formidable talent in his own right, Blake brought a whole new dimension to LinZ's sound.
Now on her own, LinZ hopes to bring her own unique musical vision to the world.
