Artist description
An electric bass, a few synths and one fine set of drums - that's hiCUT,
the new drum'n'bass-band from Cologne/Germany.
hiCUT play drum'n'bass, but neither sampler, nor turntables, nor
notebooks show up on stage.
Because hiCUT play drum'n'bass the old fashioned way - 100% live and
handmade.
And all of a sudden this often very complex style becomes lucid, easily
tangible and quite graphic - everyone can actually SEE for themselves, where the
music is coming from: for nothing is programmed or pre-produced in
hiCUT-music.
It is DJ-music played by humans - and that's one reason for the
obvious charisma of hiCUT.
hiCUT are pure and alive. hiCUT can clear your mind and fill your body with
groove.
Years of experience of playing in various bands can mean only one thing:
those three guys from Cologne master their instruments and they are
willing to take away all party-people with breathtaking grooves.
Still, their main goal is to give the audience some fun, not to present
themselves.
And the people love it and dance - 'cause that's what it's all about!
