Artist description ex-best friend is a band of three friends that play independent rock type music. Our songs are loud and some-what fast. Many people say many things, comparing us to bands like The Pixies, Husker Du and Weezer - this humbles us. We think we sound like us. We are music fans and our taste in music ranges from Grindcore to Dreampop and everything in between. We love what we do and hope you will to. The name ex-best friend, itself is such a bittersweet word. We can safely say that this band is in existence because of changes in life that have occurred mostly because of our own ex-best friends - and we thank them! I guess were just making a positive from the negative situation. And thats not very punk way of looking at things.
