Artist History
Elwood (also known as "The ~E~") hails from a somewhat secluded spot in the state of Colorado. His training in music includes classical study of the piano and trombone. Having taught himself to play guitar based on his previous knowledge of musical structure, he has set out on a musical adventure to push the boundaries of music and to further discover himself as an artist. Being a dj by trade, his music is naturally influenced by electronic sequencing; be he doesn't stray from his roots on the piano and guitar.
The result of this melting pot of musical variety is an eclectic sound that is both obviously digital, yet wonderfully organic. The variety of styles experienced within his genre are just as diverse, and he has gone to great lengths to assure that wonderful "something for everyone" feel.
To sum it up, Elwood seeks to educate and challenge the listener to a new level of musical understanding. His work is a departure not just from the mainstream, but you might say from the river itself. He has tweeked every detail to an individual satisfaction that is often overlooked in contemporary compositions. |
