Artist History
Classically trained in violin and piano,
self-taught on guitar, bass, drums and keyboards.
Started out in punk bands in late 70's opening for
groups like Dead Kennedys and Black Flag. Formed
first version of FOE in college with extremely
musical non-musicians. Since college various
attempts at organized musical group were realized
with FOE in Buffalo, NY. Then the performance art
aspect was added for which I created a film called
Fear of Existence and used it as a backdrop for
electronic music performances, I earned a MAH from
Univ. at Buffalo for this. Eventually I moved to
Atlanta, where I found various cohorts who took
the music to it's highest improvised noise level,
ala techno-jazz. That grouping ended in 1999,
although attempts are being made to restart this
genre of performance. |

Group Members
So many that my few functioning brain cells can hardly
remember them all. Basically it's me, Sean Callahan.
First formation was:Jack Merlino, Hansen, Brubeck,
Mark the Wildman. Second group:Me, Scott Kinsmen (drums)
Mike McCarthy (guitars, bass, keys), Tom Deck(bass). Third
incarnation was:Me, Steve Calzone, Yampier Milian,
Billy, various others whose names I'll include later
when those cells remember their names. |
