Artist description Daffection started in August 2001 with four friends and a lot of pent up rage. At first we merely covered songs from our favorite bands: Deftones, System of a Down, and Machinehead. Eventually we melded our sound into one extremely aggressive yet ultimately disturbing force and now have 14+ polished and totally original songs. With the combined efforts of throaty, pain filled vocals, melodic yet destructive guitar riffs and lumberjack drumming they have created their own throbbing style of Hard Core Progressive Metal. Daffection is the best thing metal to ever happen in Ft. Collins, CO.
