Artist History
Who are Melamar?
About a half year ago it was founded basically on the idea to melt popular music with modern elements, because we found the "common" electro-music too boring.
Concerning our idea of music, songs should be masterpieces with more than 50 bars, 2 chord changes and 3 synthi-notes as recognition mark.
Meanwhile the music has been enriched by serious lyrics, which maybe is not that typical for that kind of music, but - concerning the opinion of the folks that got to hear it while producing- doesn´t make it less worth listening to.
After having put an end to my "Rockmusic-Era" and after the writing of several songs(enough for 2 cds now), a remarkable women with a remarkable voice entered my life and gave all of her soul to make my "babies" become alive: Mela H.
In the meantime we built a band and now are confronted with major logistic and organisatorical problems, which are necessary to perform this blend of electronic and "hand-made" music on stage.
We´re at our beginning first, but yet you can hear that our music separates well from the ordinary mainstream.
Mela has an extraordinary voice and the skill to transport all the moods and feeling I had while writing the songs into my music. She can tell stories that capture your mind are to be remembered longer than any of the usual 1-2-3-4-Crap.
Nevertheless our first album called "Human Machine" has not only soft-mellow atmospheres of thinking but also many dancable tracks to be played in clubs or discotheques.
