Artist History
Formed in 2000, Fude rehearsed solidly for a year
to emerge as Darlington’s Battle of the Bands
winners 2001. Fude compose and perform all their
own material and have already been likened to the
Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Lostprophets and Incubus.
After being voted Band of the Month by the Northern
Echo’s Revolution website, Fude were invited to and
performed at Darlington Community Carnival and the
Hardenberg music Festival in Mulheim, Germany.
Early in March 2001 Fude recorded their first demo CD,
which has remained in demand at all of their gigs.
Due to the popularity of the first CD, Fude decided to
record their newer material, which they thought much
improved on the first CD. So late September Fude set
about producing a demo disc to promote the band and
booking time in the future to eventually accumulate
a full 12 track album in summer 2003.
