Artist History
Cheryl Gist was born and raised in Savannah, Georgia where her family attended the local church. Saved at the age of 11, Cheryl soon discovered that her love for music could be used to draw others to Christ.
Upon graduating from Windsor High School, Cheryl attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma for two years. The ministry of music was always evident in Cheryl’s life. While there, she met many people and began singing and touring with “Souls A Fire Gospel Choir” led by Bishop Carlton Pearson and directed by Raphael Greene. She also toured with the “Echoes of Life Ensemble”.
Cheryl is a graduate of the Jacksonville Theological Seminary where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry. Cheryl is a member of the End Time Handmaidens and Servants, a worldwide missionary and intercessory prayer organization. She has preached and prayed in several nations including Canada, Germany, Guatemala, Haiti and Ghana West Africa.
With her debut album, Cheryl seeks to expose the glory of God through her music. “My Home” produced by Grammy nominated recording artist Troy Sneed reflects the true heart of the worshipper.
Cheryl is committed to a lifestyle of whole-hearted worship and to helping others discover more of Jesus through praise and worship.
