Artist description The Jake Salu Band… What can I say, I’ve put these mp3’s up in behalf of them, I was 16 years old when they formed in 1996, I was very much the young snotty punk kid, and maybe I still am?!?! But this band gave me the opportunity to go out on the road and live the wild life, like something out of a Clint Eastwood movie, for a good couple of years I did the sound and lighting for them and each night just sat back and watched something that changed my life for ever… Even now being in my own band, I still inspire to have the energy and passion they did… This band features my Dad (Tony Dixon) on Drums, my Uncle, Terry Dixon on Guitars, Vocals and Song writing and my good friends Mr Chad-Son Glen on Percussion and Vocals and Sean the Horn (the original) on Bass Guitar… The Jake Salu Band play from the heart, emotional wild-west fused rock music that inspired my life, let it inspire you too – Daniel Dixon
