Artist description Kiss the Star is born out of the New Wave/Synthpop genre and is influenced by both the Goth and Electronic/Industrial genres. With Megan's edgy female vocals and Craig's dark aura, backed by an updated sound, Kiss the Star has put the "pop" back into the scene.

Artist History Kiss the Star was born April 2002, by combining the vocal talents of Megan Erben (formerly of Faith Assembly) and Craig Smidt's (Cats Last Dance)song writing craftsmanship. The first Kiss the Star venture is the cover of popular MP3 dot com artist Joy Machine's "About You About Me". A full length album is now being created. In March 2003 Kiss the Star merged the elements of the band Cats Last Dance into it's own. Signed by Shadowplay Productions US, the debut album "The Echo of a Star" is due to be released early 2004, produced by Brian Hazard of Color Theory.
