Artist description
If it wasn't for the grittier side of Jawbreaker, the pop genious of The Who, and the bizarre and beautiful chord arrangements of the Pixies, there would be no Thee Stranded. So...finally a band that sounds like your favorite mix tape. |

Artist History
Guitarist and songwriter Ricky Reyes hooked up with drummer Chris Blackavar, starting with an idea of revolution and ending up with a good blend of early punk influence, tight rock 'n' roll swagger, and a conviction lacking in most other outfits. In November 2002 they went into the studio and recorded a nine song album, and have since completed their line-up with Daphne Vandervalk on bass and Ed Kasper on guitar and vocals.
With the band members' collective years of experience in other projects, their live shows are explosive, straight to the point, and leave you wanting more. Thee Stranded has created something powerful and distinctive, fueled by a compelling desire to build the perfect song and turn popular music on its head. |
