Artist History The newest offering from this young acoustic project, "A Summer's Tears" is an album comprised of short bitter tales of romance gone wrong, interspersed with longer more hopeful ballads of what is yet to come. Noah Galley, an island native and the driving power behind Stagecoach Taxi describes the new CD as "Something a little different that what you would hear from us during the "Another one to Remember" sessions. Our sound is wider, and much fuller, we did a ton of experimentation with the new CD, lots of layered guitar tracks and rich full vocals are a few of the first things you will notice. Many of the songs have a very bitter quality about them, which is something that I guess has been hidden inside for a while. When I was writing for this new album I found myself thinking back to the times I had spent going to every beach party that I could, and never finding one where the people were "real". It always seemed to be going great until you took a look around. I guess I must have felt a lot of hurt from people over that summer, because it all just seems to come out when I am writing. Now that I think about it, the only times that I ever felt happy during those months were when I was alone, playing guitar or surfing. There was just something about the stillness that would calm me down, you know? Get me motivated to make it through that year and see what the rest of my life had in store. I guess that is really what this album is about. Moving on from what just isn't working, and getting your ass out there, figuring out what does work." Stagecoach is yet again gearing up to return to the studio to finish mixing "A Summer's Tears" which is expected to hit stores this February.
