Artist History Dowlin is the former founder/leadsinger/guitarist/ songwriter fron the LosAngeles based band "Us" The group had one of the largest local draws in the late eighties and early ninieties, selling almost 20,000 units. Music from the group was featured and added on world famous KROQ and another 62 Gavin AOR/POP stations throughout the US.Another 65 College stations reported the record to CMJ.Billboard and Cashbox trade magazines added the single "LayOver in London" to their recomended sections. In contrast Dowlin also worked for MCA records label for 10 years in LosAngeles and has quite a unique perspective on the inside of the music bussiness by working personally one on one with many of todays biggest stars that were sighned on the label. This is the first release from this illusive artist in over 10 years. After traveling the highways and byways of this country and writing sometimes off lifes harsh expiriences Dowlin has once again decided to record and release his own sound. With elements of Rock, Jazz and alternative and his own blend of powerful vocals and unique production he has once again managed to come up with his own unique niche in the music world. again
