Artist History Blind Myself Biography Formed in 1995, the Hungarian metal-noise-rock band, Blind Myself represents a special part of the European metal scene. The band`s popularity grew quickly after its first EP and video, 'Horrified by the Sun' appeared in Hungary. Widely acclaimed national tours followed this. The band signed with Warner Music (1G Records). 'Heaven`t', their first full-length album was released on 1G Records in November 1999. The album, full of complex, hard and thoroughly arresting music prompted the release of their second video, 'Kain'. Zoli Teglas (Ignite) invited them to open Ignite`s shows on their US tour that included 16 cities from San Francisco to Philadelphia. To capture a US following, Blind Myself relocated to New York City. In the past three years they have performed at legendary clubs, such as CBGB`s and Continental in New York, L`Amour in Brooklyn. Blind Myself`s popularity rose quickly in Hungary and the band performed with Slayer at the 2002 summer "Summer Rock Fest" festival in Budapest. The band performed in front of 3,000 people at its four live performances at the Sziget, the biggest summer fest in Europe. 'Product of Our Imagination' the band's latest album was published by 1GRecords in July 2002. In January of 2003 a compilation cd has been released by McGathy Radio Promotion in North America. The compilation called Brutal Comp. No. 1. included 3 songs from Blind Myself and at least 500 collage radio stations played it throughout the United States (http://www.mcgathypromotions.com/edge). The band moved back to Hungary to record their next album and to play on the biggest Hungarian Festivals which included the Sziget Festival where they performed the fifth time. This time they played with Napalm Death at the metal stage. After five years they parted ways with their previous record label. Now Blind Myself is ready for R'N'R and to find a new European Label.
