Artist description
Take some three chord punk, throw in horribly out of place solos and add a singer who sounds like his underwear is too tight. There you have The Torpid Stumps. Dedicated to bringing you subtle humor and slight drops of intelligence all wrapped up into a catchy punk or emo tune. |

Artist History
Chris and Ryan met first in the Squirt D life of Wakefield Youth Hockey. Let me just say Frank Michelli is an idiot. Being so young Chris' mom would watch Ryan and his younger sister and for years after Ryan and Chris have been best of friends. Soon after they got into punk they realized that each could play their parts, they decided to write a song. The first song "Kinda Like High School" never left the dark depths of the studio in Ryan's basement room. A year later they returned with Foriegn Hand which would prove to be their first demo. Guitar being out of tune and a few mistakes they recorded it again soon and added in bad electronic drumming. Since then they have 9 songs total with 5 in the works and 5 songs recorded. They have yet to build up a set to play anywhere yet. |
