Artist History SICK SAD WORLD is a solo Shredcore project created in early 2001 by DEZ (ex-Rot in Pieces) in Hull, Québec, Canada. I call it ''Shredcore'' because I hate the limits of labelisation and I dont want to part of something. By the way, SICK SAD WORLD is the name of a reality show in a cartoon on MTV called Daria. Why I choose that name? It's simple, I hate TV, I hate MTV and I hate reality shows! The project works in 2 different ways : -Solo recordings : What I compose since 2001 and record all by myself (...with a drum machine). -Sessions members : Working with session members (with a real drummer, especially!) adds diversity to the project's sound. (Thanx to them for sharing their great talent!) I usualy compose everything on the spot when we jam. It's a more impulsive way to make music. For shows, I obviously cant do it alone, so I ask session members. SICK SAD WORLD was created due to the amount of bands I participated in. It tend to be for me a more free and concrete way of creation. There is no particular style, no specific band members, just music as it may be!
