Artist description
Phlox Parallax is currently a dynamic duo created by Mike W. Odneal and Shawn W. Bryant.
Both reside in the Midwest, though a long drive away from each other, so the music is the result of lots of mailing CDs back and forth.
Phlox Parallax describes the commonality of the two artists (Phlox being a flower that is ubiquitous in the Midwest) as well as the differences (Parallax refers to an apparent change in position due to the point of reference changing).
Both current members are very eclectic in tastes. |

Artist History
Phlox Parallax has been around semi-formally since 1992, having begun with Shawn sending Mike some tapes he had made with his new four-tracker.
