Artist description A melancholy acoustic duo currently based in Denver, Dave and Scott write music that is an ecclectic mix of folky, singer-songwriter guitar jangle, jazz chords, and playful jams. Dave's nasal rasp conveys introspective, personal lyrics, while Scott's unique melodic fingerpicking style weaves a musical tapestry with Dave's strumming.

Artist History Paired in the summer of 2001, Dave & Scott have used each other as inspiration, and in the short time since the beginning of their collaboration have made musical leaps and bounds--finding their voice, exploiting their strengths, and strengthening their weaknesses. They have played in Denver's tiny venues, and in 2003 will be more heavily promoting concerts, and moving into larger venues. With the release of their four-song demo CD in summer 2002, they have built a small fanbase. In the Autumn of 2002 they were on hiatus, while Dave spent nearly four months in London, England. Currently, armed with a whole new catalogue of songs, Dave and Scott are getting back to work with plans to play more live shows in 2003 and meanwhile return to the studio to work on an eleven or twelve song independent album to be finished in 2003 or 2004.
