Artist History The WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES first debuted at The Covered Wagon Saloon in the fall of 1989 for a Birthday Party for Punk Globe Editor and Debutante GINGER COYOTE. Soon after they were invited by JOEY RAMONE to partake in his "Circus Of The Perverse" party in New York City appearing with the likes of DEBBIE HARRY, BEBE BUELL, DANIEL REY, LEMMY KILMEISTER, and THE RAMONES. They then landed their first record deal "San Francisco" on JELLO BIAFRA'S label ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES produced by FAITH NO MORE'S bassist BILLY GOULD. A followup "Cheap Date" was released on TEEN REBEL RECORDS which then led to " Crawl For It" on Desperate Attempt Records. The following year Rome Italy's HELTER SKELTER RECORDS released a slit 12' with Vancouver BC's THE McRACKINS. In 1996 the highly praised " It's Raw.....But You Live For It" was released on 206 RECORDS. That year also saw releases out on AXEHANDLE RECORDS, GI PRODUCTIONS, FOOD NOT BOMBS and ALTERNATIVE TENTACLES(London Branch). In 1997 GEORGE MICHAELSKI the Musical Director for the hit CBS Drama "NASH BRIDGES" began using their material for the show's soundtrack. Releases in 1997 included material on 206 RECORDS, FOOD NOT BOMBS, BURNT RAMEN RECORDS and SHARK D RECORDS (Japan). 1998 was an equally hot year for the band with releases out on BEER CITY RECORDS, BOOZ RECORDS (Japan) and a split 7" with New York City's SUICIDE KING on PSY - 9 RECORDS from Austria. 1999 has also been busy with releases out on BEER CITY RECORDS, MCA JAPAN and PSY - 9 RECORDS. Latter this year TRIPLE X RECORDS will release "PUNK 99" and a compilation CD being produced by singer GINGER COYOTE to benefit Hearing Awareness and Education for Rockers (H.E.A.R.) on SUB CITY RECORDS will be released in early of the next millennium. The band entered Nico Blue Studio's with ARCHIE FURGONE at the helm producing the hit single " HEY NICK.... You Did Okay" witten in the memory of the late NICK TRAINA for the compilation CD. The session included special guest vocals from PRECIOUS (Other Star People, L7) , PAIGE DARLING (The Erotics, The Darlings), XANDER SMITH (Chalk Circle, Other Star People), TEQUILA MOCKINGBIRD ( Nina Hagen, Trouble with Nora) and EMMY NOMINEE Actress AMY CARLSON. Romance Novelist DANIELLE STEEL extended an invitation to GINGER COYOTE to contribute to her book "His Bright Light" which details her son the late NICK TRAINA's struggles with being Bi-Polar. The WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES are also highly featured in the full length movie released in Japan called " Blast Off....SHONEN KNIFE" by film maker David Markey. The DEBUTANTES have obtained endorsements from UPTIME (Sports and Nutrition Industries), JEAN GENIE (custom made jeans at jeangenie.com) and DR. MARTENS / AIRWALK. The band has toured the United States, Canada, Japan and Mexico playing with such notables as GREEN DAY, THE RAMONES, RANCID, THE LUNACHICKS, THE OFFSPRING, ZEKE, SHONEN KNIFE, KEMURI and L7. You may also remember the band from their invitation to Olympic Figure Skater TONYA HARDING to join the band or their most colorful former member " The World's Oldest Punk Rocker" PUNK ROCK PATTY PIERCE who is featured in the JERRY SPRINGER book "Ring Master". The band has also been featured on many Television shows including "THE JERRY SPINGER SHOW", E GOSSIP with Michael Musto", "MTV NEWS IN ROCK", " INSIDE EDITION", " BRUCE LATTIMER SHOW" and "CONAN O'BRIEN".
