Artist History
WEAPON-X was formed by Vinnie,Eric and Max in August 1997. Martin joined as vocalist in January 2000 and solidified the lineup. In February 2000 we entered the recording studio with accomplished Producer N.S. "Buck" Brundage (www.couchcreativeservices.com). We worked and recorded with Buck over the course of the next year. The CD was mixed in March 2001 at The Carriage House Studio (Stamford, CT) by Grammy winning Engineer Phil Magnotti. The new 13 song CD "Behind These Walls" was released in September 2001. The CD charted nationally on 3 metal radio charts (fmqb, Album Network, CMJ crucial spins & loud rock) over a 6 week period during October and November 2001. It was promoted by Munsey Ricci at Skateboard Marketing (www.skateboardmarketing.com). Currently we are playing around the CT, Mass and NY areas and looking to expand our horizons. During the course of 2001 Weapon-X has opened for several national acts including Quiet Riot, Savatage, Fates Warning, WASP & Ratt. Be Real and Rock On! |
