    Artist History
As soon as the Ljubarosa was formed, in 1994, its members picked out their very first ideas and started to work very intensively with them. The principal objective was to define every single intuition and, to try to make it able to live its autonomous life. Already in this first phase the group proved to have a lot of ambition. And, in April 1995, the very first five-track demo came out. The following year, 1996 , represented a kind of point of departure in Ljubarosa´s constant live-activity. The band reached both the regional finals in Arezzo Wave festival and the national finals in Ritmi Globali. They were also invited as guests amongst others Mario Venuti and Luca Madonia (Denovo), in two different kind of venues; Catania Notte Rock and Medifest. One of the most motivating factors that really makes us to perfect our sound, is a comparison between a different kind of music realities. (Pe, vocals). In January, 1997, Ljubarosa released their first full-album 'Il Paradiso di Flora'. As the band´s members themselves define: 'It was an album that was much more musical research than a typical Rock 'n' Roll debut album'. However, it contained over 10 songs that were the most representative tracks of the group so far. Soon, the album made its way through: not only in many italian radio broadcasts but also abroad (for example in France). The band partecipated in different kind of tv shows in order to promote their forthcoming summer tour that brought guys all over the southern Italy. Many newspapers and music magazines have left a remarkable column space for this young and talented group a real revelation of the moment. The most flattering reviews have been in italian magazines like Rockstar, Mucchio Selvaggio and Futura Music. The last one mentioned hasn´t just had a coverphoto of the group in it but it had also a compilation cd of which the opening track was taken from Ljubarosa´s debut album Il Paradiso di Flora. A Nervous Day, released in 1998, was a kind of product that expressed in a sensible way a totally new character manifested by the band. It also represented a very important passage in Ljubarosa´s musical progression. This neaten up demo contained seven essential tracks and it can still be considered as a kind of stilistic evolution that won´t let down anyone´s expectations. Again the media has demonstrated to be positively interested in the band´s darkened sounds. With the new demo Ljubarosa has managed to conquer some space also on the line: rockit.it, a virtual magazine that has reviewed the A Nervous Day on its issue of December 1998. The new year 1999 had immediately some good signs; while the band partecipated in Rimini´s NightWave festival which is one of the most popular Italian festivals of art and music, they met Red Ronnie, a famous M.C. who invited guys to guest on his programme called Help (TMC2). (Nowadays TMC2 and MTV are the one and same). All the rest is a current story. Ljubarosa released two more demos between the end of 1999 and the beginning of 2000. The first one, a four-track demo, called Candido seduced immediately a well known producer Angelo Carrara, the man behind Battiato, Alice, Ligabue, Timoria, E. Finardi etc. Later in the same year the band decided to attach the four songs of Candido to some additional material which was either completely new or re touched from the previous demos. This new product, released in March 2000, was called Senza nome. A year later the band admitted positively: We have got a new skin... a stone cold skin. It meant that, instead of its five members, the group has become a trio and it has changed the italian language into something more understandable: english! As a living proof they have now a brand new single The No-Sense Song that came out in July 2001, and it´s available on CD with two more songs - never released before. (The official release date is in September 2001). The mini-CD is self-produced by the band. There´s one - a very important - thing to remember as well; when the band was working in the studio, it was supported by a very experienced hi-tech man: Massimo Carpani, the man, a well-known sound engineer who has succesfully worked with many of the most famous Italian and foreign musicians, leaving them an unrivalled impression. (Vasco Rossi, Lucio Dalla, Luca Carboni etc.)
