Press Reviews I am of the opinion that no matter how many swirling guitars or beautiful vocals there are, techno based non-vocal music is much more emotional and thought provoking i.e Black Dog, Boards Of Canada, Reload, Plaid etc. Then a track comes along to challenge this view: Grace Catherdral Park by the Red House Painters, Into My Arms by Nick Cave or No Surprises by Radiohead to name but a few. -Tom's MP3 Reviews: Top Choice OCT. 99I can now add to this list At Least We Are Educated by Linus Strike A Chord. This is the sought of song that makes me suddenly humble. A song where all other noise must cease whilst you listen to it. This is a gorgeous track with beautifully sung vocals, over spine tingling keyboard sounds (rather like a Century of Fakers by Belle & Sebastian) which linger on even after the vocals have returned. I cannot say anymore than that - Essential Download. it almost makes me sick to my stomach to think that bands like n*sync and korn are ruling the charts and amazing music like linus strike a chord is lingering in obscurity... but maybe it's better that way. a secret only for those of us willing to look for it. pass this secret along to anyone who will listen. linus strike a chord is an amazing band and racecar is just one of the amazing songs on their site. -still dealing with the scars radio
