February 2000 Performs set in huge snowstorm on lodge rooftop at Heavenly Valley for NBC broadcast of JOHNNY MOSELEY's ‘Bumps and Jumps’ ski competition. Also plays Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. March 2000 Featured cover story for the Lake Tahoe weekly, ACTION. Coverage follows in the Reno Gazette Journal Sunday Calendar, Reno News and Review, North Tahoe Truckee Week, and Nevada Appeal. April 2000 Opens for the BRIAN SETZER ORCHESTRA at Hugh Hefner’s PLAYBOY MANSION in Los Angeles.Invited to appear and perform on NBC affiliate KRNV Channel 4 Reno morning show. August 2000 Opens for THE BEACH BOYS at Sacramento Valley Ampitheater for Bill Graham Presents. Returns home to record “TAHOE BACKCOUNTRY” with producer Damon Gold. February 2001 Launches AIR TAHOE RECORDS with Bradshaw Lambert, cofounder of BONG LOAD RECORDS, the label that played a pivotal role in launching BECK with a vinyl 12” called ‘LOSER’. March 2001 Three minute performance and interview segment on RESORT SPORTS NETWORK is broadcast to over 500,000 households on 56 TV stations in western regional resort areas. July 2001 Appears on KMTN-TV. Laid back party anthem, ‘LAZY DAYS IN TAHOE’ selected as closing theme for the entertainment program INSIDE TAHOE, airing 3X times daily June-October. August 2001 Debuts three songs from his brand new release, TAHOE BACKCOUNTRY live on ‘THE X’ (KTHX 100.1 Reno), interviewed by Dead Air Dave on Roots Rock Revival.
