Artist History
Unofficially, Blind Monkey Phil started ca. 1992 with a copy of Finale for Windows and a Roland U-20. Phil wrote several tunes using either finale or Cakewalk for Dos (those were the days) to write several of the tunes on his first CD "In Out Thru". Phil always kept up with technology and is now using everything from Cakewalk for Windows to Acid to aid in his creative process. Phil is currently beginning work on his sophomore follow up "Zone of Control". "Zone of Control" promises to be much more mature and thought out musically than "In Out Thru". "Zone of Control" is very loosely scheduled for release sometime in the fall of 2001. Stay tuned. |

Press Reviews
Synthesizer music that sometimes strives for Ambient, sometimes resides firmly in '80s TV Soundtrack territory, bordering on Synth Pop. –Listen.com |
