Artist description
Matt Blare's frustration with conventional music and conventional attitudes explodes with rage in the form of the Blare project. This is the sound of boundaries being pushed and shoved. It's usually dissonant, it's often theatrical, and at times it's just alienating. And hey, kids! Your parents won't like it! |

Artist History
The Blare project was born in the suburbs of Scarborough in 1998. Matt's homemade demo, Joshua, was changing hands, and people were hearing things they'd never heard before. Later that year, Matt founded Associate Records with the help of other local young artists. Joshua has been reissued on CD and a theatrical live debut is currently in the works. |
