Artist History Rosebourg were founded in the year of 2000 by guitarist Julian and bass-player Slav in the small town of Kazanlak(right in the centre of Bulgaria).After playing in differen other bands from the area(in one of which together), they found that there was perfect chemistry between them both and that the melodies they create together sound exactly the way they had always wanted! Soon, Julian and Slav started writing their brand new songs and the ammount of the new material was terribly increasing, so it was clear that the time is right to found a new band!The name Rosebourg was soon 'coined' - it is supposed to mean something like The Castle Of Roses even though then it was first used with the meaning 'the town of roses'.However, after looking in some dictionaries, it was found that 'bourg' means not only 'town' but also 'fortress' or 'castle' - the explanation is simple: a long time ago, the towns were castles! After a year or so, the band were joined by drummer Eddie(who is also a fine painter and created the cover of the demo CD) and were lucky to find their new singer Dilian who's old band was the opening act for MOTORHEAD's show in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2000!With his powerful and in the same time very warm and melodic voice he made the band take a fresh breath which leaded to the recording of Rosebourg's demo "Deathly Silence" in the end of 2002. The result was a five-song demo, which already is on the path to glory and got some excellent recommendations from other famous and experienced musicians from the world metal scene! Rosebourg keep working on their new material and are presently looking for a label! We're also trying to take every chance to play live shows anywhere in the world!
