Artist History As a DJ, David was the music supervisor and the resident DJ for the SOMA Magazine parties from 1999-2002. He also was the main producer and resident DJ at the monthly “Decadence” parties in 1999-2000 at Club SIX in San Francisco. He was also the music director for the electronica show on choiceradio.com for 2000-2001. His songs are featured on several compilations and will have new tracks out on vinyl by the fall. David started his own label Starfire Records in 2001 and released the compilation “Electro Organic Vol. 1” with national distribution through Navarre. Songs from the compilation were played on many college stations and were also featured in film and TV and include “Halloween 8”, ESPN, MTV, “Malcolm in the Middle” and SONY’s website. As a producer he has written/produced songs the films Loofa, Texas Scary Movie, Rabbit of the Apocalypse, Shadowed Love and most recently for the new MTV2 show “The Table”. He also has songs that have appeared on MTV’s Making the Video and Real World. He has collaborated with Information Society, MC 900 Foot Jesus, Jon Birdsong (Beck) and live have opened up for NIN, Skinny Puppy, The Tragically Hip, Sophie B. Hawkins, Love and Rockets, Miles Hunt, Pistol, Consolidated and Buckethead.
