    Artist description
“From the time I was in kindergarten, I knew that I wanted to be an Entertainer.” Justin Ayers sang his first song in a kindergarten talent show. The reaction of the people in the audience...laughing, smiling, applauding, made him sure that this was the direction in which he wanted his life to go. Not really into sports when he was young, he auditioned for every singing and acting part he could...getting most of the leading roles. “I had three older brothers who were into sports and other things, but I was more into music and acting. I listened to Lynard Skynard and other ‘Southern rockers’ with my oldest brother, but I also liked Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Kenny Rogers, Dolly Parton, and Elvis...I loved Elvis. I also went through a phase where I listened to a lot of pop and dance music.” Originally from a small Ohio town, Justin came to Nashville to pursue a music career via New York City. He did extensive acting work there, appearing on “All My Children”, “As The World Turns”, and “One Hundred Center St.” on the A&E Network. He also did some modeling work for some national fitness publications. After the tragedy of September 11, he had a change of heart. “I had lost a couple of friends in the tragedy, and I realized that life could be very short. I did some reflective soul-searching, and I decided to come to Nashville and take a shot at my real heart’s desire...singing and songwriting.” He describes his style of music as “Modern Southern Rock”. When asked to describe that term more thoroughly, he says “...mix a little Lynard Skynard with today’s modern country, and add just a pinch of techno pop, and you get modern Southern rock.” A rather original recipe, but Justin Ayers is an original. His unique vocals, and his commanding style and presence say just that. Justin is a multi-talented guy. He wrote all but one of the songs on his CD. He says that... “most of the songs are a reflection of my life so far. “Good Life” I wrote because I finally found myself, and accepted myself as I was...which led me to the good life. “Give It All To Me” can be taken in a couple of different ways. I wrote it as a song about my finding God, and how He affects my life, but it can be also be taken as a mainstream boy/girl romantic relationship kind of thing. “Simple Things” is a feel-good song about the things in life that we often overlook. Most of them don’t cost a thing, but they can sometimes be the most valuable experiences we will ever have, and the things we remember most and make us happy.” “That’s What Makes Me Me” sums up Justin’s life. “I’m tired of people trying to steer me in one direction or another, that basically doesn’t ‘fit’ me. This is my rebuttal to those people. You are you, and I am me. This is a song about being true to the real person you are...about being yourself, no matter who that is.” “Draw The Line” is a song that depicts growing up. “My family always told me to watch who you trust, because people add to and stretch the truth.” “Here To The End” is about a person finally realizing that what they have been looking for their whole life is right in front of their eyes. Once that realization occurs, they never want to let them go. The final song “24/7 Made in The US of A” is about how proud we should be about the United States. “We should all work together to make it better, instead of pulling apart.”
