Artist description I am looking to either join an established outfit or form a band from scratch. In both cases I'm looking for a heavy aggressive style, similiar to Soulfly, Hatebreed, Slipknot, Otep, Ill Nino. Aggressive vocals with equally aggressive music: mosh changes, accent breaks and 4/4 in the pocket slammin drums and bass.

Artist History Several years live and studio exp. Have played clubs in NYC boroughs, NJ and CT. Former Bands included Waricide, a progressive thrash band that played neo-classical inspired power metal. Distributed in Europe by Master Records (Germany) and Wild Rags (CA, USA) Circa 1991 - demo recorded Analog 16 Track at Speed of Sound Studios, Franklin Square, NY. Band recieved numerous press in local and international fanzines, magazines and papers in the metal underground: EC Rocker, Good Times, Musician's Exchange, Close-Up, Metal Hammer..etc Press coverage details available upon request. Other bands include Kursed Earth - former members went on to join/form "Merauder" signed to Century Media Records (2 albums) Formerly trained by Berklee graduate. Studied theory and applications. Former music theory major in college: Aaron Copeland School of Music/York college. Have written a 300+ page theory application book for guitarists. Taught guitar privately for 7 years in the NY area. Studied classical guitar for 3 years and was a member of a Jazz ensemble in collge under the direction of jazz virtuoso George Bien. I have very diverse influences in music from guitar virtuoso's like Malmsteen, Vai, Uli Roth, Page, Joe Stump, Jason Becker to old school metal/thrash: Anthrax, Megadeth, Hades, King Diamond, Cities, Testament, Judas Priest, Pantera..etc to Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Otep, Ill Nino, 40 Below Summer, Cro-Mags, Hatebreed, Celtic Frost, Deicide to old school rap: KRS One, Kid Frost, Boogie Down productions, Ice T, Ice Cube, Cypress Hills. I am Looking for something heavy with aggressive vocals and lyrics, mosh changes that groove and slam. The sample MP3's below were from my former band and are used as a SAMPLE only of my abilities on guitar. This is NOT the style of music I wish to play or write. I currently have complete songs/lyrics written which reflect the "nu-metal/hardcore/emo style scene.
