Artist description
COAGULATED BLOOD is a progressive extreme metal
band-we take the brutallity of death metal, combine that with the sinister
melodocism of black metal, mix that with the emotion
of doom metal and seal it off with the technicality
of progressive metal to form an all encompasing extreme
metal band.

Artist History
Formed in 1998 from the ashes of nobodies OBLITERATION, Dan and Drew
sought to create an even more extreme band. They recorded
the demo of "Bring On The Next" for a compilation.
While passing out copies of the compilation cd at a
MORBID ANGEL show in 1999, they met Chris and Steve and formed
the actual COAGULATED BLOOD. A year of relentless practicing
followed and in 2000, they emerged with the "$100 Murder" ep.
Released in the limited number of 100 handmade copies
and given away for free, the band quickly moved all
copies. More tiring practices followed and in 2001, they
laid down the tracks for the full length album
"Barbaric Reashaping Of Flesh". The album will see the
the light of day in 2003. The band then made ts first
attempt at live shows in 2002. In 2002 a dream of a
professional art education and career forced voaclist
Steve to resign, and not long after that, the demands
of being a responsible husband and father pushed
bassist Drew out. The band is now in a rebuilding
phase and will come back stronger than ever in 2003! |
