Artist description (Abyssinia) The original name for Ethiopia before it was invaded long ago. The Name symbolizes strength, struggle and hope for a better future, which the group feels, represents the true motive for them. The AbyssiniaBoyz are a determined group who has all the skills necessary to stand out of the new wave of music scenes hitting the Toronto area. The Group’s target audiences are the youth in north America, but mostly youth here who understand the Amharic tongue, not to mention the crowds of people waiting to hear more back in Ethiopia.

Artist History AbyssiniaBoyz (Group Bio) The group was formed back in 1998, and was formally know as Alkebalance. It originally had only two members, DJ B (Producer/Mc), and Lil’Bine (Vocalist Mc). They took to the stage shocked the crowds with an original style of mixing Amharic, English and hiphop. This new original sound’s popularity soon grew, the group then expanded to two more members, KJ ('Vol-1' Vocalist Mc), Green/Priceless (Vocalist Mc). The new additions to the group added a unique essence to the sound. Later another member Cdyce (Producer/Mc) & D'loc aka BuckSane ('Vol-2' Vocalist Mc)joined the group and the chemistry was complete
