Artist description
I have been writing original Christian music since 1981. I literally performed my first Christian song the same day I became a born again Christian! Since then I've composed dozens of songs, but never did any kind of recording. Soon after the 911 attack on America, I was laid off and had some time to take the first step toward recording. Using Sonic Foundry's Acid Music software to "fill in" the parts, I completed 17 songs in two months.
I am currently serving at Valencia Hills Community Church in the music ministry (band pictured below). Previous to that, I served at New Creation Christian Assembly in San Marcos, CA as their worship leader for five years. It was there that I played guitar and sang all my original songs along with the ACID music trax.

Artist History
Christian songwriter and worship leader for 22 years. Currently involved in the music ministry at Valencia Hills Community Church in Valencia, CA (band pictured right). Prior to that I was a worship leader for five years at New Creation Christian Assembly in San Marcos, CA. I have played in several local Christian bands over the years including Heartfelt, Change of Heart, Souls in Exile and Extol. I particularly enjoy writing songs using Sonic Foundry's Acid Music 3.0 for background music. I play an Ibanez Artstar semi-hollow guitar which kind of looks like the one George Benson plays. I also play an old '57 mahogony Martin OO-14 acoustic guitar for my mellow songs and even use a ratty old Hondo strat copy when I want to get a little "garage band" raunch in the mix. I do all vocals and harmonies. |
