Artist History
Coincidentally studied at the same institutes both in Tokyo and NYC, Machiko and Makia started to perform together at local cafe in late 1999. Since then, they share the passion for all kinds of music, including jazz, contemporary and dance-influenced pop/world music. Makia being originally a composer, they are keen on searching for the unique voice and style of their own. Lately they have been exploring the possibility of interactive/electronic/avant-garde field, utilizing Machiko's brand-new PowerBook G4 and MIDI violin. |
