Wilson Tsang was a student of classical piano at the

to explore the world of various music genres such as
jazz, blues, folk and rock.
Wilson's first step on the local indie music platform
was marked by a few playful but unsuccessful attempts
to join in with HUH! (was known as What's for Dinner
at that time). In 1992, he first performed publicly in
a concert by Chan Wai Fat and The Box in CCDC.
In early 1993, he wrote and performed his first solo
concert Hot Pot and Cool Dog as part of the Fringe
Festival programmes. In 1995, Wilson collaborate with
local writer Siu Sai to score, set-design and play for
a theatrical performance Letters from/ on/ of Ameoba.
In 1997, he joined Pun Tak Shu in the production The
Invisible City,1997 (along with dancers from Pappa
TARAHUMARA, a major Japanese dancegroup). Later in the
year, its official soundtrack CD The Invisible City
was released by Chan Mi Ji.
In early 1998, Wilson took part in the Fringe Festival
for a second time to write and perform his second
theatrical piece, Songs from the Pebble House, with
the collaboration from video artist Lo Yin Shan.
Between 2000 and 2001, Wilson was twice invited by
Macau art group Comuna de Pedra to play in their local
art festivals.
Beside playing music, Wilson was also involved in
local art scene and has publicly presents his works
(including paintings, drawings and installations) in
numerous solo and group exhibitions and he has been
illustrated for printed media for more than 10 years.
In 1996 he wrote, illustrated and published his first
story book, TWELVE TALES, IN ELEVEN MONOCHROMES under
the sponsorship of Hong Kong Art Development Council.
He is now working as a full time graphic designer.
