DARRENGALLOWAY - VOCALS, GUITAR Darren has been playing guitar for over 20 years. Drawing heavily upon the Chicago style blues artists and sporting a ten-ton load of tough licks. His inferno of leads, fills, and solid rhythm work drives the band. Darren doesn‘t copy any one style but mixes his influences to create his own. "This band is my vision of blues, rock, and soul." Says Darren. "I like to mix up what I play and do basically a blues format intermingled with classic rock and other styles of music. I keep it pretty open to great songs from people like Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Marvin Gaye, and others. I like to take the music and make it my own when I do a cover song. It should sound like me and not like I'm impersonating someone else." MATT GARTKE - BASS GUITAR Matt began playing Bass in 1979 under the direction of Chicago session musician Bob Shefield. While attending college at Illinois State University, Matt performed with country artist Brian Gunderson and formed "After Hours Featuring Brian Gunderson", a lounge and psuedo jazz trio which performed in the college area over a period of four years. Matt relocated to Springfield, Illinois after being hired by Hurricane Ruth LaMasters "Daddys Girl". "Daddys Girl" was an edgy original metal trio highlighted by Hurricane Ruths bluesy vocals and front for "Cub Coda", "Smokehouse", "Head East", and "Dokken". CHIP BERGER- PERCUSSION Chip joined the band a few months ago and has been enjoying his time with the band planning for the new recordings.
