Musical Influences He grew up listening to Rakim,K.R.S one , Slick Rick, bigdaddy cane and artists like that , but a lot of his musical influence is from growing up and living life on the street , things like having free-style cyfers on the street corner and housing coplex ,playing basketball in differnt neighborhoods,writing graffiti and getting His hustle on to escape the poverty all around him.

Similar Artists nobody , while He was on tour around the United States ,people said he sound like nothing they ever heard before and they kept asking him (why aren't you out yet?!)

Artist History Know why REDRUM is gonna be the next biggest star!? .. because he knows how many artists there are out there that are good, but they sound just like their favorite artists(eminem,jay-z,dmx...) !! .. see, REDRUM doesn’t sound like anybody else, and why? because he didn’t listen to the radio and bite someone elses style like everybody does.., , he didn’t have to because he’s been ryming since 1994 and he’s got his own style and his own things and issues to ryme about !! Meet “REDRUM”, He started rymin in 1994, he started with freestyle and battling cats on the street corners and clubs.Afterwards putting a group together in 1995 called (MEKANIZM),after two years of colaborations the group was on telivision,performing at clubs and dropped the first single and sold it out of local stores and right out of the box., He wrote and performed a theme song for a T.V show that was seen by viewers in NewYork(the show was called “ Off the Hook”, hosted by Vianna). .In the process of getting out there , He met and rymed back stage wit Scooly D., and he met K.rock(M.C Lytes d.j) and was suppossed to work with both of these artists but problems with the rest of his group messed those chances up for him..., He signed a managment deal,had production deals and record deals on the table..but a group member was afraid to quit his job and the other member had a baby, so these opportunities for him got shut down.. - He knew it was time to move on..., he’s been a solo artist since then....,. After 1999 came, REDRUM's been making serious moves in the rap game..Recording for the MOVIE SOUND TRACK JIMMY WHISPERS with VITO PICONE.. ,He's been recording with the multi-platinum producer and guitarist VERNON REID of the rock group LIVING COLOUR..he's on a TRACK with rap legend SLICK-RICK and PRINCE PAUL producer of DE LA SOUL, which is on the ALBUM YOHIMBE BROTHERS(which is vernon reid & d.j logic's album)out in stores now on ATLANTIC/ROPEADOPE records...He just came off of touring the UNITED STATES for a month and a half with D.J LOGIC and VERNON REID...,He stays battling underground rappers on the college of staten island's radio station WSIA 88.9 the hiphop show with EMELIO SPARKS..,He's colaborating with drummer/producer DEONTINI PARKS who recorded on LAUREN HILLS album...,He's colaborating with CORE PROJECT , underground rappers out of St. luis .,..He’s on a HipHop Mixtape commin out in NewYork titled “Laughin with the Gods” He’s hitting the Open MIC curcuit hard all over Manhattan..., to put it short, REDRUM is putting himself on the map in a serious way !!
