Artist History
The pop rock quartet Field Day exudes the energy and enthusiasm you might expect with such a name. Combined with music that is melodic and powerful, Field Day’s live show is unlike any other. The natural chemistry among the band members is evident through each and every performance.
Vocalist Dax McCall and guitarist Blair Gilley began playing together at LSU and added bassist Chuck Pollitzer after relocating to Atlanta, GA in 1999. By playing over 400 college and club shows, the group have gained a dedicated fan base throughout the Southeast. With a rigorous tour schedule throughout 2003, a growing demand in the regional club scene, and a debut CD – “Way I See the World” – in stores, Field Day will undoubtedly become the Southeast’s next great, must see band.
Youthful energy, hook driven melodies and a devotion to perfection on stage is clearly what sets this group apart from the rest of the “field.”
